with an attorney, FREE OF
CHARGE and CONFIDENTIALLY.
We are not going to take on your case, but we can make sure that your
Public Defender gets all the information he or she needs and works
properly, at the best of his/her abilities. |
Resume/Job/School Applications --

Do you need to prepare your resume, get back in school or fill out a
job application and you're not sure how to do it? Call or visit us and
we will be glad to help you. |
COMPUTER
CLASS --
Would you like to know how to use a computer and  discover all the things you can do with it? Or do you need
to prepare your resume and you don't have access to a computer? Check us out and see how easy it is to learn. |
G.E.D.
CLASSES --

The Peace Corner offers, from September to May, a G.E.D. preparation
course taught by teachers from Loyola and Dominican University.
The classes are in the evening, free of charge and small in size.
Availability is limited so you have to apply soon. |

TUTORING --

Need a hand with your school homework or your G.E.D. test? Every day
somebody will be here to assist you. |
JOB TRAINING

At the Peace Corner we can offer you the opportunity to gain some
experience in home remodeling and other useful skills. Recently then we
also started our own "Peace Corner Handy Man Service" employing youths
form the neighborhood, doing clean up jobs, moving jobs and all kind of
awkward jobs people may require. Are you interested? |

Sometimes you just need to talk to somebody. Well, we feel honored and
privileged to listen to you and to work out something with you. |
SUPPORT GROUP

If you are just getting out of the Audy home, the county or D.O.C. and
you do not want to go back there, maybe you need some kind of support
group. We have the right group of guys for you. Get in touch with  us and
find out how you can stay out of trouble while having fun too!
You can also complete your court mandated community service at the
Peace Corner: just visit us and we will arrange everything for
you.
