The Peace Corner Youth Center is a safe haven for youth on Madison Street in the Austin neighborhood. Kids and teens engage in after-school programming with carefully chosen adult mentors. Announcing our NEW Amani Leadership Program!
We’re seeking 5th graders for our new program designed to empower our West Side youth on their journey toward success and fulfillment.
Beginning in October 2023, Amani groups will meet twice a week after school with dedicated, highly trained mentors, providing them with the tools and resources they need to navigate the challenges of middle school successfully and build a solid foundation for a bright future. The program will be enhanced with fun and interactive experiential learning through arts, music, field trips, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) projects, and guest speakers exclusive to the Amani Leadership Program.
