Art + Music with Mr. Johnny

Wednesdays from 5:15PM-6:15PM

Learn about the connection between art, music, and culture. Explore the history of music, experiment with different instruments, and create art projects inspired by what we are listening to that day. Students will have opportunities to create their own songs and record them. All skills levels welcome!

Celebrate Your Story with Once Upon a Time Capsule

Thursdays from 5:15PM-6:15PM

Join our friends from Once Upon Our Time Capsule for fun activities to explore this year’s theme: Celebration. Students will document their views of the world with writing, drawing, audio, and visual and then preserve them in a digital time capsule. The program will close out with an amazing celebration planned by participants!

Join the Girl Scouts: Troop Peace Corner

Fridays from 3:45PM – 4:45PM

Did you know the Peace Corner has a Brownie Troop that is open exclusively for girls in 2nd and 3rd grade? We’ll meet weekly to do fun projects, explore the great outdoors, earn badges, and develop as leaders.

Monsters + Mayhem

Fridays from 5:00PM-6:00PM

Join us for this special 4-week class to learn about the origins of your favorite Halloween creatures: Vampires, Witches, Frankenstein, and more! Each week we’ll make creepy crafts and spooky snacks to get us in the Halloween spirit.

For a current list of classes, questions, or to register your child, please call the Peace Corner Youth Center at (773) 261-5330.
